Just sharing my thoughts about the Azkal’s 2018 Suzuki Cup Semi-Finals stint.
2018 Suzuki Cup Semi-Finals 1st Leg
The Azkals lose at home to Vietnam in Panaad, Bacolod, scoring only one goal to Vietnam’s two. I think the team played well, they had some pretty good chances, the game certainly was not one sided as we gave Vietnam some scares, too.
If the team had been complete, meaning if Daisuke Sato, Alvaro Silva, etc. had been with the team, I feel we could have beaten Vietnam in Panaad. Vietnam had not conceded a goal in the tournament until their game against the Azkals, and we also scored our first goal ever at a Suzuki Cup Semi-Finals Stage.
